★★★★★ 5 star rating out of 5I love my AS-400 saxophone, it’s beautifully finished with a rich tone and a fine sturdy carrying case. For the price, it can’t be beaten.

★★★★★ 5 star rating out of 5Oh, if only I could play it as well as I know it can sound - or maybe as well as I used to play when I was much younger! But as I did then, I’ll keep practicing. Thanks for a great value.

This intermediate alto sax is a great horn for the money. Well made, smooth, good intonation. I also have the pro version of the alto sax from Jean Paul. This intermediate sax comes close to the pro model.
I’m in highschool and this is good enough for me. I will definitely be using this sax for everything. If you want to take playing more serious i would suggest getting a different sax though. My problems with it are that some of the pads are sticky and some screws come untightened a little bit. I bet if i take it to the show they would fix this minor problem but it’s an annoying problem to have with a new sax. All in all i will DEFINITELY keep this sax in my collection.
My kid loves it, now he sounds like Canonball!
Excellent horn, tremendous value with no real quality competition at that price point. Another company just jumped into the category with their own high quality Chinese made model, but it’s 50% more expensive.
I like this curved soprano very much. It is very responsive and plays well. The clearance between the player's fingers on the right hand and the bell is a bit too small. I would prefer to have the bell curved a little more to the player's left. That would make more space for the right hand fingers. Otherwise it's a very good intermediate sax.
After buying the student level alto a few years agoand loving it, we decided to take the plunge to buy the pro tenor. The sax is beautiful, sounds great. My only critique is that the keys were supposed to be a beautiful blue. When it arrived, they were white. I mentioned it to Tim and he said they went back to the original keys and had not updated the website yet. I was quite disappointed, but not enough to send it back. It's a keeper for sure and I look forward to playing it for years.
I purchased a silver TB 400 trombone, which I received 7 days ago. It was very well protected with the packaging and the initial impression was that everything looked fine. However, I realized that it has a defect in one of its sections where the silver plating is flaking off (or coming off) and shows sulfur corrosion (or sulfide corrosion) of the material."
Great
Even though I decided to return the saxophone for unrelated reasons, I had it for several weeks, and my impression was that, especially at this price point, it is a very good quality instrument with a lovely sound. Also, the company was very responsive and cooperative..
My son decided to take on the challenge of learning the Soprano after previously purchasing the Alto Sax Anniversary Edition, which he’s absolutely loved. I highly recommend Jean Paul instruments—they’ve exceeded both his expectations and mine, and their customer service has been wonderful. Recently, he competed in four band competitions: his team earned 1st place in the final event, two 2nd place finishes, and unfortunately placed last in the first competition. Here’s a short video of him performing his solo during one of the competitions.
I received exactly what I needed, high quality mouth piece, and right on time shipping. Highly recommend!
This is my second clarinet from Jean Paul, and the clarity on the 2nd one was worse than the 1st! These instruments are NOT in tune, at all. Also, the clarinet has a crack in it. They refuse to give me a refund! Do NOT waste your money!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alto Saxophone Repair Review
I recently had my alto saxophone serviced, and I couldn't be happier with the results! They did a fantastic job—the instrument plays like new. The pricing was fair and whatever they told us,What really stood out was their excellent communication and responsiveness throughout the process. They kept me updated, answered all my questions, and made sure I was completely satisfied. Highly recommend their services to any saxophonist looking for quality, care, and professionalism!
I never played before, yet I managed to produce some decent sounds pretty quick since it appears to be good quality from reed to sax. Also, the included online courses were very helpful so far. I like receiving the quality inspection video showing me how from a competent player’s point of view it does play well.
