Professional Setup
Every woodwind gets setup and play-tested by one of our NAPBIRT-certified technicians, who are also professional musicians. This ensures optimal performance right out of the box.
It is wonderful everything I expected, it came the same day as concert and was played perfectly thank you
I've found that some pads are not sealing. Perhaps it'll improve as I play. It's an okay flute. Not great.
I’ve been playing woodwinds for over 60 years focused on saxophone and doubling on flute. I purchased the Jean Paul Intermediate Flute as a practice instrument. The intonation is fine, but the key work is sluggish. The keys are slow to move and not flowing during transition. I can work with this, but not at a performance level. At best this is an average practice instrument. I would not consider it a step-up instrument for a student performer.
Arrived fast great quality!!
I don't know much about flutes, but my daughter loves it and says that it plays beautifully. As of this moment, there have been no issues with it. She is in her 4th year of playing.

Intermediate Flute
Its good
Great flute my daughter loves it
I'm impressed with the Jean Paul instruments!
We purchased this for our son’s birthday and he loves it. He said it has a great sound quality, works just as good as his Yamaha flute he used from school. The quality for the amount exceeded his expectations. He loves the tone and easy to play high and low register. Thank you for such a beautiful and affordable flute.
Just received my flute order 17446 & found the cleaning cloth missing? Though the site suggests intermediate flute package includes cleaning cloth? Pls remedy the situation. Thanks.
I've only ever played a Student Flute. A Gemeinhardt, to be specific. I played through school, and...let it go. Then a friend at Church played for several Sundays, and my heart just flooded with a deep want to play. I talked to her about my very old 30yr old flute, and she said, Upgrade. I never knew that was a thing! So, my husband ordered me my BEAUTIFUL Flute with Jean Paul! What an amazing price for my Intermediate. I trult appreciated the amazing assistance when I wrote about not receiving anything for almost 2 weeks. They were very kind in the emails, and got right on it! Even upgraded my upgrade for any inconvenience! I'm learning how to play again, and, my children, are in awe what i feel is incompetent playing...I love them! They are so Encouraging! Anyways, Thank You, Jean Paul. After I play for awhile and get myself back in the groove, I know this will be a most Excellent instrument! I love the case and the clothes that this came with, also, Thank You!
it is a beautiful flute, I have not played one for years but I was surprised how easy it was to play the lower register. This is a wonderful flute for anyone picking it up again or someone just beginning. Thanks again for another quality instrument.
William.
What a sound!! I teach trumpet and always respected real flute players because I played bamboo flutes as a kid in boyscouts. Beautiful instrument, actually louder than I expected, well made, great case... I'm gonna "flaut all over the place." ..like James Moody :) 😀
Love the flute so far! It seems to be a great value!
Intermediate Flute
Beautiful instrument. No need to spend three times more on a Yamaha.
A really nice instrument for the price! It has the split e mechanism too, which is optional on a 2 times more expensive instrument I returned.
I'm a Band Director and I'm always looking for good instrument options for my low income students. The flute plays VERY well for the price. It speaks very well in the high range, and is also able to play down in the basement. Way better than the competitions several thousand dollar Intermediate options.
We ordered the intermediate flute for my daughter who just joined the band. I was hesitant to spend tons of money on an instrument when we weren’t sure how committed she would be to it. I played a Gemeinhardt in school and those are $1200+ now. This one by Jean Paul USA is much more economical and is really a great flute. All the keys work as they should and it has a really nice tone. Plus there’s a 1 year warranty so you at least have that if there’s a problem with the instrument. I’m glad we took a chance with this and bought this flute. Great for a first instrument!
Why buy from Jean Paul?
